## What a programme reads, and the screen it comes from.

None of these is a promise. Each is part of Carna's own screens, drawn here as the app draws it. The app is worded for schools — a group is a class, a learner a student — and the sample data says so under every frame.

  The home screen names the people to chase and the reason beside each one — not started, overdue, or a low score — worst first. That list is the weekly job.

  Open one of the people that home screen named. Their average against the group, what they handed in, how many tries it took and what came in late, course by course. Each score is the latest attempt; nothing here is presented as a final mark.

## One team, one quarter, one baseline.

This is how we suggest running a first programme with a company. None of it needs an integration, and none of it promises a result.

1. Before it starts

   ### Pick one team and a baseline

   One team whose English matters to the business, the courses that fit it, and the baseline you will compare against — including where each person starts.

2. Week one

   ### The group exists in Carna

   A trainer creates the group — Carna calls it a class — invites the team and assigns the first courses. Sign in with Google is live; nothing is installed.

3. Through the quarter

   ### Practise, and read the report

   The trainer's home screen lists who has fallen behind and why, and the group report ranks every course by its average. The trainer follows up with whoever is behind.

4. End of the quarter

   ### Compare with your baseline

   You have the group report, a report per learner and your baseline. If it is worth telling, we would like to publish it with you — with your review of every line.
