## What a pilot reads, and the screen it comes from.

None of these is a promise. Each is part of Carna's own screens, drawn here as the app draws it. Agree the baseline before a pilot starts, and these are what you compare at the end of it.

  ### Who needs help, and why

  The home screen names the learners to chase and the reason beside each one — not started, overdue, or a low score — worst first. A pilot can count how that list shortens.

— HOW A FIRST TERM RUNS

## One term, a class or two, your own baseline.

This is how we suggest running a first term with a school. None of it needs an integration, and none of it promises a result.

1. Before the term

   ### Agree what you are measuring

   Pick the classes, the courses and the baseline you will compare against: last term's marks, a placement you already run, or the first Carna report itself.

2. Week one

   ### The class exists in Carna

   A teacher creates the class, invites the learners and assigns the first courses, with a due date and an attempt cap. Sign in with Google is live, and nothing is installed.

3. Through the term

   ### Teach, and read the report

   The teacher's home screen lists who needs support and why, and the class report ranks every course by its average. The teacher follows up with whoever is behind.

4. End of term

   ### Compare with your own numbers

   You have the class report, a report per learner and your baseline. If the term is worth telling, we would like to publish it with you — with your review of every line.
