— INTEGRATIONS
What Carna asks of your IT team: almost nothing.
Carna opens in the browser and signs in with Google. A first term needs no integration project.
Sign in with Google — live today on carna.app Nothing to install: the teacher app is a web page Classes, co-teachers and join requests live in Carna LTI, rostering and grade export: planned, not shipped

— HOW IT FITS
What plugs in today.
Carna is one web app: a browser opens it, people sign in with Google, and the classes live inside it. Everything on the dashed side is not built yet — tell us which one your school needs.

- Rostering and grade export to your SIS
- Live today — usable in a pilot this term
- Not shipped — no date promised
— NOTHING TO EXPORT
The numbers a head of department reads are already in Carna.
Grade export is not built yet, and a first term rarely needs it. The class average, the work handed in, every course ranked by its average and the spread of scores are in Carna's own reports, built from the attempts themselves.

— ROW BY ROW
Every system schools ask about, row by row.
Each row was checked against the product itself, not a roadmap slide, and says what a teacher does today.

— BEFORE YOU ASK IT
The five questions an IT lead always asks.
Answered as of September 2026. If an answer changes, this page changes with it.
Data, retention and who can see what: data and security.
Does Carna work with Moodle or Canvas today?
No. There is no LTI connector in the product yet, so nothing embeds inside a Moodle or Canvas course and no score returns to its gradebook. Teachers link out to Carna and keep the assigning, the marking and the reports there. If a connector is what would make a pilot possible for you, tell us the platform and the version and we will scope it.
Do students need a new password?
Anyone with a school Google account signs in with it. Sign-in with Microsoft or through your own identity provider is not built yet — tell us if your school needs it. Learners without a school email address get a username from their teacher instead, so a class can start before an email rollout does.
What does our IT team have to do before a pilot?
Reach carna.app from the school network — and allow it through the web filter if yours is strict. Then a teacher creates the class and invites the learners. There is nothing to install, no plugin and no server to stand up.
Can you import our roster from our SIS?
Not automatically: there is no SIS or rostering connector yet. For a pilot, teachers create their classes in Carna and learners join them. If you are bringing hundreds of classes, say so at the demo and we will plan the setup with you rather than guess at it here.
Will our marks ever reach our school information system?
Not today. Grade export and OneRoster are not built yet — tell us if your school needs them. Carna's own reports carry the class average, every course ranked by its average and each learner's latest attempt, and none of it is presented as a final mark.
Bring your stack to the demo.
Tell us what your school runs — the LMS, the sign-in, the information system — and we will show you what works today and what we would have to build for you.
